The NFC East will have a new edition of its most bitter rivalry when the 3-3 Dallas Cowboys travel to Lincoln Financial Field to take on the 2-4 Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday October 30th, 2011 at 8:20 PM ET.
The best place to bet this game is Bookmaker Sportsbook which has the Eagles as 3 point favorites with a total of 50.5
Last week’s revelation for the Dallas Cowboys, running back Demarco Murray who ran for 25 times for 253 yards and one touchdown in the Cowboys’ 34-7 win over the St. Louis Rams certainly hopes to repeat that performance against another defense which is bad against the run; the Eagles currently rank 23rd in this category and surrender an average of 123.8 rushing yards per game, so another performance of that caliber is highly likely.

The Eagles should be rested coming off a bye and hopefully were able to address their problems on offense, however it is clear that the best way to keep their offense off the field and gain control of the clock is clearly to hit them where it hurts the most, and that is running the ball. Unfortunately for Philadelphia, they will play the best run defense in the league; the Cowboys allow only 69.7 rushing yards per game and have surrendered only two rushing touchdowns this season.

Certainly this will be a high scoring game with both offenses facing favorable matchups, Philly through the air and Dallas on the ground, but given Philly’s struggles we like to the Cowboys to get a road win for this one. Bet the Cowboys!
